🌱 MACP Student Interns at RTR

Root to Rise welcomes exceptional MACP students who are ready to bring both heart and professionalism to their practicum experience.

​

Our interns are compassionate, curious, and deeply committed to personal and professional growth. They value reflective practice, ethical integrity, and showing up fully — not just to collect hours, but to genuinely learn what it means to hold space for others.

​

Under the supervision of experienced Registered Psychotherapists and Clinical Supervisors, interns provide therapy to clients across Ontario through our Affordable Therapy Program — offering accessible, high-quality care while developing their clinical voice and confidence.

​

Interns are active members of the Root to Rise team, engaging in case consultations, team huddles, and community initiatives. We encourage each intern to explore their unique areas of interest while maintaining strong boundaries, curiosity, and care.

• Self-directed, organized, and proactive communicators

• Open to feedback and reflective in supervision

• Grounded in empathy, humility, and professionalism

• Passionate about making therapy more accessible and human

Root to Rise is home to licensed mental health professionals registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) who value both clinical excellence and human connection.

Our independent contractors bring warmth, authenticity, and depth to their work — creating spaces that feel safe, grounded, and deeply human, whether in-person or online.

As an IC at Root to Rise, you’ll enjoy the flexibility to design your own schedule, shape your clinical focus, and align your work with your personal values — all while being supported by a collaborative and compassionate team.

Root to Rise’s online presence reflects who we are — warm, real, and community-driven. Our social media and marketing collaborators help us tell that story with creativity, integrity, and heart.

These roles blend design, storytelling, and strategy — from creating authentic social media content to sharing mental-health resources and celebrating the incredible work of our team.

We look for individuals who are creative yet grounded, emotionally intelligent, and aligned with our approach to mental health — genuine, stigma-free, and relational.

Although we’re not currently hiring in this area, we love connecting with creatives and marketing professionals who share our vision and aesthetic.

Our administrative team plays a vital role in keeping Root to Rise running smoothly — supporting both our clinicians and clients with professionalism, warmth, and care.

From scheduling and communication to document management and client coordination, admin staff help ensure every touchpoint with Root to Rise feels grounded, organized, and human.

We value individuals who are detail-oriented, compassionate, tech-savvy, and comfortable managing sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.

While we’re not actively hiring for administrative roles at this time, we’re always open to connecting with skilled professionals who feel aligned with our mission and values.
